welcome to the opbouw website, specializing in rare and out-of-print books, periodicals, posters and prints (espescially the development of urban plans from industrialisation onwards) concerning architecture, town planning, (social) housing, building construction, modern art, applied art, interior decoration, furniture, design, photography, typography and garden - & landscape architecture. several thousands of items are in stock permanently, emphasis on the 20th century, while also stocking old and rare books occasionally. opbouw developped an extensive booksearch-service concerning all mentioned fields (wants preferably to be send through 'your wants'-link above), advices collections and appraises rare items and lots. opbouw may be visited by appointment later this year 2010 (was located in the centre of amsterdam in the shop of architectura & natura, one of the best specialized bookshops in the fields of architecture and garden- & landscape architecture in europe and worldwide.) |
